The short version: Connect8 is a public regulatory intelligence platform. We collect minimal data — only what is needed to provide the service and respond to enquiries. We do not sell your data, track you across the web, or share your queries with third parties.
Connect8 is a product of piBits AI Solutions Pvt Ltd, based in India. We build regulatory intelligence software. Our contact is amit@pibitsai.com.
Account data: When you register, we collect your name, email address, and password (stored as a hash). We also store your chosen plan and sector preference.
Query data: We log queries you submit to improve service quality. Queries are not shared with third parties and are not used to train AI models.
Contact form data: Name, email, company, and message when you contact us.
Payment data: Payments are processed by Razorpay. We do not store card details. We receive confirmation of payment status only.
Usage data: Query counts per day for plan limit enforcement. Anonymous page view data for analytics.
We do not use your data for advertising. We do not sell your data. We do not share your data with third parties except as described below.
Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023, you have the right to access, correct, and erase your personal data. You may also withdraw consent at any time. Contact us at amit@pibitsai.com for any data requests. We respond within 30 days.
If you are in the European Union, you have additional rights under GDPR including the right to data portability and to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority.
Account data is retained while your account is active and for 12 months after deletion. Query logs are retained for 90 days. Contact form submissions are retained for 12 months.
Passwords are stored as bcrypt hashes. All data in transit is encrypted via HTTPS. Server access is restricted to authorised personnel only.
Connect8 is intended for business professionals. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
We will notify registered users of material changes by email. The effective date above reflects the latest version.
